The J1772 connector is a UL connector with a cover door
for SAE J1772™ specifications. The Adapter is enclosed in a UL listed
polycarbonate box. It has 2 toggle
switches to simulate R1 and R2 in the J1772 system.
A pilot light indicates when the charging station (EVSE) is providing
electrical power. Step by step
instructions are on the bottom of the unit.
The ST1 unit is not intended for simulating a vehicle
with a battery that requires ventilation.
Other units are available with this feature.
ST7
Simulator or Test Box for J1772 electric vehicle charging stations.
This simulator or test box allows a more complete
manually stepping through the states used in a J1772 technology charging
stations (EVSE).

voltage, good design, good fabrication, and a constant thought about
possible failures and safety must be part of the project. If you choose
